Where do you go when you really have to go?

Where do you go when you really have to go?

What is this supposed to be?

We asked folks where do they go when they have to go. The answer amazed even us. About 20% would ask to go at a near business place. 15% would do the same, but without asking. But that’s not the most interesting bit yet..

Where do you go when you have to go?

That should be a legitimate question. A mere 6% of our 250 respondents would simply hold it in. But would the rest do?

cant-hold-it

My deepest respect goes to the 15.1% percent of good honest people who would simply go to a business and no questions asked, well, just do their business. What better place than a place of business to do your business?

And then there’s the ‘others’

I love leaving out a vague options in my surveys. It always lights up the imagination. So apparently, 18% of people, when having to use the toilets, will not look for an open business or a public toilet but then they are not going to hold it either. What would would they do? Just go behind a bush, or in a parking lot? Perhaps we should ask the pope.

What do you think they are doing? Let me know in the comments, I’m really curious about this one.

Boys don’t ask

That makes sense. Men are 42% more likely than women to go do their business in a business, without asking. Count me in on that one. I say, if you serve food and drinks, you need the cater for the other end of that equation – no questions asked.

Youngsters don’t ask as well

20 yrs old are 36.50% more likely to go at a business without asking, and 200% more likely than 65+ to do so. I guess that is just one of the things life experience teaches.

Doing the “other” thins is extremely volatile with age, and might even signify different actions at different ages, and simply asking permission to go grows in popularity with age.

Closing words

Seriously, what is “Other”? It’s driving me crazy!

  1. Great survey! For me, the nearest café or restaurant is the best choice for me. Just think about it, I patronize them, so it shouldn’t be a big deal for them to receive me gladly also, when such a need shows up.
